We provide direct links to the jobs & vacancies pages on the websites of 341 UK government and publicly-funded organisations.

How we're different

There are other sites that feature UK government vacancies, but they tend not to be comprehensive, so it's often worth visiting each organisation's own website to see what jobs they're currently advertising. But doing this takes time - even if you bookmark each one. The official published lists of links only take you to the home page of each site, not the specific jobs pages.

We aren't affiliated to any government organisation, recruiter or media owner - we just put this together to save ourselves some time. n.b. We are not responsible for the content or jobs advertised on other sites we link to - and we do not recruit for any positions ourselves.

Customise your list

You can customise the list to show only those organisations you might consider working for. Just remove the tick from the box next to the names of the organisations you want to remove, and click 'Update selection'. Hey presto, only the remaining sites will be shown. If you want to see the sites you've disabled, click on 'View: all' and the full list will be shown. GovernmentJobsDirect will remember your selection for up to 12 months (using a simple cookie on your computer).

Help us keep the site up to date

Though we aim to keep this list up to date, some links may become broken, and some of the organisations' websites may occasionally be unavailable. Please help us by reporting broken links or letting us know about new organisations or vacancy pages.
